SevenFifty’s Price Interface
SevenFifty distributors can either send files to update their portfolio (file-senders) or add products manually (manual-updaters).
The pricing interface is designed to meet the needs of all domestic markets. Not all features are used in all markets. For example, channel pricing is only available in non-price posting states. Specific features or display of those features cannot be shut off.
Note: File updates will override manually-added or edited products.
1. Pricing
User interface (UI) for manually adding or editing prices. This UI is mainly intended for use by manual-updaters or file-senders who would like to manage price groups directly through the site. File-sent prices will overwrite existing prices.
2. Region Specific Pricing
This feature is used when a distributor has different prices in different price zones or markets. If the box is unchecked, the same prices appear in all zones and markets. (See Region below)
3. Month tabs
Defaults to the current month. Prices will automatically rollover. If next month’s prices differ, use the ‘Add Month Pricing’ button.
The latest month’s pricing will automatically be applied to subsequent months. In this example, November pricing would rollover unless December prices were added.
4. Bottle Qty
All items require a 1 bottle price
This can be done two ways 1) add bottle price on 1 bottle or 2) add case price on 1 bottle and SevenFifty will automatically calculate the bottle price for you.
If only adding one price (no other discounts) then only a 1 bottle price is needed. The case price will be calculated automatically based on the case size required in an earlier step.
The above illustration shows a product with a front line bottle price of 3.99. On 12 bottles, the bottle price drops to $1. A case price doesn’t show up for the 1 btl price ($3.99) because you can’t buy a case at $3.99/btl. A case of 12 costs $1/btl.
5. Bottle price
Bottle price must always be added to the 1 bottle price qty (frontline price) if there’s a discount on the equivalent of one case. SevenFifty will automatically calculate the case price when the bottle price is entered. The case price will appear in a light-gray background.
6. Case Price
SevenFifty will automatically calculate the bottle price when case prices are added. The bottle price will appear in a light-gray background.
7. Price Groups
This feature only applies those file-senders who’ve already set up price groups during onboarding.
- No Price Group
- Assorts
- Mix and Match
- By the Glass (BTG)
- Family Plan
More complex discount structures can be represented by creating price groups like ‘Mix and Match’ or ‘Family plans’. Price groups may not be supported in some markets (e.g. price posting states).
Price groups can only be managed through the price interface. Distributors must set up (create) price groups with their SevenFifty Technical Account Manager before managing them on the price interface.
All price groups must start with a 1 Bottle Qty price and will be set to the ‘No price group’ price group. Price groups can be added subsequently.
Note: If your company doesn’t already have price groups, version 2 (coming soon) will allow you to add them directly through the interface.
If your company has a custom file set up with SevenFifty, adding price groups to that file still needs to be handled by a technical support team member. These adjustments can take three weeks or longer, depending on the complexity of your request. Please contact Support@SevenFifty.com.
8. Price Display
Internal:
- Prices only appear to all distributor users.
- Buyers see ‘Please inquire’ in the price field in Browse.
Published:
- Prices appear to all users
9. Region
All products have at least one region. Distributors with more than one price region can either add all price regions to one price row or ‘Add price’ to create another line if the Qty btl = 1 (frontline price) or discounts vary by region
Regions are set up during a distributor onboarding or can be added afterward upon request. The setup process may take several weeks.
10. Channel
By default, channel pricing is set to ‘all’, so that the same prices show up to both on- and off-premise buyers. On- and off-premise pricing options are only available in some markets, and then only when requested by the distributor. Additional restrictions may apply.
11. Remove
Remove the price line. The remove button will be grayed out once the 1 bottle price is added.
12. Add Price
Click the ‘Add Price’ button in order to add the price.
13. Save / Cancel
Click ‘Save’ in order to save all changes.
