What are Price Groups?
Price Groups are special prices assigned to a specific set of products. The price group names are not customizable.
Price Groups allow your company to display more complex discounts on the SevenFifty marketplace.
Access Price Groups from your Dashboard.
Which distributors see price groups?
Price Groups are only visible to certain distributors.
If your company sends a file that differs in any way from the standard SevenFifty price export file, this Price Group feature is not supported and should not be visible on your dashboard.
How do I activate Price Groups?
By default Price Groups are set to Inactive. Click ‘activate’ to use the price group.
When a price group is activated, you will receive a Success notification and the status will change to Active and be highlighted in green.
Activated price groups will then appear as a selectable dropdown on the price edit form of a product.
More information on how to add price group pricing to a product can be found here.
Notes
- Activated Price Groups will only appear on price exports if pricing has been added to that price group.
- Deactivating Price Groups will permanently delete all pricing in that group. This action cannot be undone.
How to Deactivate a price group
To deactivate a price group, click deactivate.
When deactivate is clicked, you will receive a warning that deactivating a price group will delete all associated prices with that price group.
**SevenFifty cannot undo or restore price group prices once deactivated.**
Click OK to proceed with deactivating the price group. Once deactivated, the price group status will change to Inactive and be highlighted in red.
